New Features
  • In-App Document Capture: You can now take photos of your identity documents (Passport, ID) directly within the app during onboarding, removing the need to upload files from your gallery.
  • Simplified Onboarding (No BVN): To support our international users, the mandatory BVN requirement has been removed from the wallet creation flow. You can now complete sign-up using other valid forms of identification.
  • Push Notifications (iOS): We have enabled push notifications for iOS devices to keep you updated on transaction statuses and account activities.
Improvements
  • Security Lockout: Implemented a security feature that automatically locks an account after 3 consecutive failed login attempts to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Fee Awareness Modal: When funding your wallet, a new modal will appear explicitly stating the processing fees (e.g., 1% capped at ₦1,500) before you proceed.
  • Performance Upgrade: We upgraded the core app engine to Expo SDK 52. This improves overall app stability, performance, and ensures full compliance with the latest Google Play Store requirements.
Fixes
  • OTP Timer: Fixed a bug where the OTP countdown timer was running faster than real-time.

  • Expanded international payouts so you can capture richer payment details and send directly to UK (GBP), US (USD), and EU (EUR) bank accounts.
  • Redesigned the Canadian transfer flow for a faster, more intuitive experience.
  • Added support for Tanzania (TZS) wallet payouts to bank accounts or mobile money numbers.
  • Updated the quote calculator to show the total debit amount (including fees) and warn when wallet balances are insufficient.
  • Migrated the mobile app to the V2 payout endpoint, improving overall speed and reliability.
Bug fixes
  • Funding transaction history now renders correctly.
  • Fixed navigation that routed crypto wallet users to the wrong quote page.
  • Bank search results refresh properly after clearing filters.
  • Resolved KYB submission timeouts where the submit button spun indefinitely.
  • Corrected KYB phone number country code defaulting to Afghanistan.
  • Addressed an issue where the transaction PIN button became unresponsive during crypto-to-crypto transfers.

  • Long account names now display in full without truncation.

  • Stricter recipient validation prevents saving incomplete or invalid bank details.

  • Added Malawi (MKW) payouts so you can send funds directly from the app.
  • Users can view how much of their transaction limit remains in real time.

  • Introduced encrypted shared-preferences storage for JWT tokens.
